Ioneer Sustainable World Scholarship Program

The ioneer Sustainable World Scholarship has been established to invest in our future by supporting Tonopah High School, Esmeralda County Virtual High School, or Mineral County High School students who are pursuing higher education in Engineering, Science and/or Mining and who share ioneer’s goal of developing materials and solutions that are necessary for a sustainable and thriving world.

Scholarship Information

We are now currently accepting scholarship applications for high school students that will be graduating in the spring of 2024.

Applications must be received by April 20th, 2024 to be eligible for consideration.

We encourage all local high school graduates that plan to pursue higher education to apply – even if you plan to pursue a major other than Engineering, Science or Mining. Applications from rural Nevada High School graduates including Tonopah High School, Esmeralda Virtual High School and others will be accepted.

Awardees will be notified in May of 2024.

SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS:
ioneer awards scholarships based on a comprehensive process.

Areas that are reviewed by the committee include but are not limited to the following items: academic accomplishments, community service and future educational goals. ioneer will pay scholarship funds to the school the student will attend or is attending.

The ioneer Sustainable World Scholarship is awarded without regard to race, color, ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation. Two recipients will be awarded scholarships annually. Monies may be applied to tuition fees or room & board. Award winners may reapply for this scholarship up to four times.
